This area is more commonly referred to as “North County” and it’s a very nice area to visit. To the east of Miramar, along the coast, is La Jolla, which is part of San Diego but is thought of more as a separate community. There are a number of expensive hotels in the area.

No matter where the need for San Diego hotel rooms, it’s a sure bet that a quality hotel will be readily available. Almost all will be of extremely high character — as well as price, in some cases.
