Propose To Your Girlfriend – Read These 10 Tips First

Friday, February 5th, 2010

Proposing to your girlfriend is something that hopefully you’re only going to do once! Hopefully!!! Before you propose to your girlfriend, read these tips to give yourself a little advantage!

1. Lawyers only ask the question if they know the answer! So should you! If you think there’s a chance she’s not going to say “yes” then you probably haven’t been seeing her long enough!

2. Only make it a public proposal if you’re extra certain the answer is “yes” otherwise you risk making your happy day the most humiliating experience of your life!

3. You really have to surprise the girl! Eliminate any chance of her finding out by only enlisting the help of trusted friends who can keep quiet.

4. If you’ve got your proposal idea from the internet, a book or from someone you know, then make sure you personalize it to your own experiences! Never carbon copy a proposal!

5. Always take a knee! Yes I know it’s corny and old but she always imagined her marriage proposal would be like this so don’t let her down!

6. Guard the ring! Don’t risk losing it in some elaborate engagement scheme by burying it in sand or giving it to the Dog to deliver to her! It’s not worth it!

7. Keep good eye contact! She’ll know that you mean it this way and also show confidence which she’ll find attractive!

8. Ambiance is very important. Create the setting with candles, music, good food and dim lights! Most girls find this preferential to a huge public spectacle of a proposal!

9. Consider your timing! If you propose in the winter, then it’s just a few months before you could have a spring wedding! For a long engagement, go for a spring proposal! It could be a whole year before you would have to go through with it!

10. Just relax! It’ll go fine just as long as everything is planned like a military operation! This is your big moment, good luck!

Now you have some great advice about how to Propose To Your Girlfriend you may now want to look at some specific marriage proposal ideas! Question Are You Getting Married Before You Are really Ready?

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

Surely loving each other is enough reason to want to get married you might say. Yes, fine, of course you are in love with each other but are really prepared to live together for the rest of your lives?

If you haven’t talked through the 5 situations listed below and have carefully listened to each others feelings about them you are still not ready to take those final vows.

So why should you talk through the five situations below before you make your final commitments? And what is so critical about them?

Very simply this- one or more of the 5 are usually the major issue in all divorce in America right now.

It is reckoned by the experts that if all you couples that are planning to say ” I do” questioned each other about the issues below before they said those words the divorce rate in the USA could be slashed by about 83% and in the rest of the world by about 60% or more.

So, just what are these five situations?

Family- do you each of you want to have kids? If one of you doesn’t then your marriage is almost certainly doomed from the beginning! If you each of you wish family how do you propose to educate them?

Religion- do you have any beliefs and if so how intense are they? If you don’t have faith in a superior power how do you deal with moral issues?

Money- how do you feel about money. Do you consider yourself to be a saver or a spender?

Relatives-what are your feelings about each others family?

Sex- how important is it to you both?

Coming to an agreement on all the above subjects is so important that if you can’t agree on them all perhaps it would be better that you didn’t wed. perhaps it would be better to walk away and find someone else who shares your feelings and beliefs.

Now I know that sounds unkind, but I make no defence for repeating what I said above- one or more of these issues- Children, Religious Belief, Money , Relations and Sex are by and large the reason for divorce in the USA today.

To all you couples reading this, I beg you, discuss the five issues listed above with you intended before you make those final vows.

Engagement Proposal Ideas – 7 Romantic Ideas

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

Before we get into some really special engagement proposal ideas, it’s important for you to know that you shouldn’t simply copy an idea from somewhere else.

The two of you will have many shared experiences and so you should customize any idea to be personal to the two of you!

I hope the following engagement proposal ideas give you some inspiration for you and your lady:

1. Mail her a special love poem and a photo of you on one knee. Wait for her post to arrive and when you hear her scream, knock on her door and propose for real.

2. Say that you’re away on a business trip for a special anniversary time. You’ll be away for 2 weeks. Go 1 week without seeing her to make it seem real, then on the anniversary, surprise her with your presence and propose.

3. Go on a night time hot-air balloon ride over some mountains or beautiful scenery. Under the stars and over champagne you can propose to her.

4. Go digging for shells on the beach. You could “find” an old bottle with love poem inside. Write the poem yourself, making it about her and when you’ve finished reading it to her, propose!

5. You need to be extra certain she’ll say yes for this one! Go for an instant wedding! Take her for a meal and propose! When she says “yes” you can start the wedding on the spot! Make sure that everything is planned out!

6. Get her 3 red roses and tell her they symbolize the past, present and future. The ring should be attached to the future!

7. Arrange for a spa day followed by a photo shoot. While the photos are being taken, get down on one knee and propose! You will have the pictures forever! After, go for a nice meal followed by a 5 star hotel!

Which ever Engagement Proposal Ideas you would like to have a go with, I recommend you think about a large range! This is only going to happen once right!!! Take a look at Engagement Proposal Ideas for more suggestions and inspiration! There’s also a free download you’re going to love!
